  • ESTA Visa – Getting to/from the airport

The airport offers several transportation options for visitors, both public and private. To get from LAX to Downtown or Hollywood, for example, takes around 40 minutes by car. Travelers who choose to rent a car can hop on a shuttle to the car rental company parking to pick up the vehicle. However, the most comfortable and fastest way to get into the city is by taxi. A ride to Hollywood costs more or less US$ 45.

A cheaper yet slower alternative is the Super Shuttle. Like a taxi, this private company offers shared vans that take travelers to the required address, stopping on the way. Prices per passenger vary according to the distance but fluctuate around US$ 16. Another private shared transportation alternative is Fly Away. The bus costs US$ 8 pp and drives to areas such as Union Station, Van Nuys, Expo, and Westwood without stops. From these stations, passengers are required to find a way to their hotel. There are signs around the airport indicating the departure point of Fly Away buses.

Those who wish to use public transport can catch the free airport shuttle G to the Metro Green Line Aviation Station. This is the gateway to the Los Angeles county railway system. Otherwise, hop on the airport shuttle C to the Metro Bus Center, LA’s central bus station. From there it is possible to catch a connecting bus line or a taxi to the hotel.

ESTA Visa –  Los Angeles Business Hotels

US ESTA application

Choosing accommodation in Los Angeles may be the most difficult moment of the trip. Options range from cheap motels to elegant hotel-boutiques, but even a mid-range hotel can be as expensive as in NY. Because of the vastness of the city, proximity to refined areas such as Santa Monica and Beverly Hills also influence the price. Therefore, entrepreneurs traveling to LA should try to find a hotel that fits their budget and is close to their appointments.

Although there is a region called Downtown LA, the city doesn’t have a definite urban center. Instead, it is organized in various hubs that can be considered centers. Downtown works as the financial center Los Angeles – an area of business, not tourism. Consequently, it is the ideal place to stay when traveling for work. Some of the best 4-star hotels in the city are here, and access to public transport is easy.

Alternatively, if you would like to stay near the beach, Santa Monica and Venice are the best options. Even if not as close to convention centers and commercial buildings, these areas have various restaurants and attractions. They are also closer to the airport, making access to/from the hotel easier if on a short business trip. Those looking for luxury should consider staying in one of the 5-star hotels in Beverly Hills.

We have taken all preferences into consideration and compiled a mixed selection of the best 4-5 star business hotels in Los Angeles.

Top Executive Restaurants in LA

As a reflex of cultural diversity, LA’s cuisine is very rich. From Korean barbecues, Mexican tacos and authentic American sandwiches, visitors can go around the world without leaving the table. The secret ingredient may be that California is one of the largest agricultural producers in the USA. Vegetables and fruits come directly from the local producer to the restaurants and farmers markets in the city. And with high-quality products, the cuisine could not disappoint. Since going around Los Angeles can be time-consuming, it can be difficult to choose a place to dine. But each area has its hidden gem, so try to plan according to the points to visit on the day,
