Located roughly 15 km outside of the city, the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport serves both Savannah and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Although considered an international airport, SAV has mainly flights to Toronto, Canada, and other U.S. cities. It features only 1 terminal with a handful of cafes, restaurants, and bars.  that remains open 24 hours. The main airlines operating at Savannah Airport are American Airlines, United, JetBlue, Allegiant, Delta, and Air Canada. A journey from London to SAV will take at least 11 hours and will stop either at one or two other airports. Travelers seeking economy fares can expect to pay between $450 (2 stops) and $2,000 (1 stop) for a one-way ticket. Round-trips on economy-class start at around $750 from London Heathrow with a stopover in New York.

On business-class, prices range from $2,000 for a single to $5,000 for a return flight. Most single tickets have two stops, one in Europe and one in New York. Near Gate 12 of Savannah Airport’s Main Terminal lies the Passport Club Lounge. This is the only VIP area in SAV and operates from 5.30 am until 7.00 pm. The lounge offers very basic amenities, nothing to compare to JFK or LAX, for example. Visitors can enjoy a humble selection of snacks such as cookies and candies, as well as a free Wi-Fi connection. The Passport Club also features flat-screen TVs and a small area with national and international magazines and newspapers.
