The Metrorail runs 7 days a week and costs just $2.25 for a one-way ticket. It operates two running lines: the green line and the orange line. They depart every 30 minutes on the weekdays and every 15 minutes on the weekends. They both run to various stops through Miami, including downtown and the outer metro cities.

The Miami Beach Bus runs from 6 a.m. to 11:40 p.m. every day and, as you’d guess, runs between MIA and Miami Beach. The tickets are just $2.25 each way and you’ll be able to bring all your luggage on board as well. This can be ideal if you’re planning to stay near Miami’s famous beaches.

Finally, taxicabs are found directly outside of the baggage claim as they wait for customers to exit the airport.
